⚠️Alert on the Book⚠️
If you're sensitive to certain topics like suicide then I probably wouldn't recommend this book due to the mention of someone considering suicide.

Twisted By Laurie Halse Anderson is a really great book. The way the main character, Tyler, thinks and the way he acts throughout the story is very "twisted." His family life at home with his sister, Hannah, and his parents. The way his dad is violent but his mom seems too scared to do anything about it. But that's not the point here. The point is how Tyler does something you probably wouldn't expect him to do.In the beginning he did something illegal to the school building. And after that problem his consequences build up more and more and he has all these different kinds of thoughts on what to do about it. In the end he figures out what the real problem is and he tries to solve it. Of course all problems has difficulties included and Tyler seems to have many of them.
Meanwhile, his best friend, Yoda (That's his nickname) tries to help him out with Bethany Milbur, a crush of Tyler's. Things start to escalate as Tyler is seen as a suspect of an incident that occurred with Bethany at a party. After the word spreads around school, Bethany's brother, Chip, and his gang is at Tyler's throat.
(I apologize if the summary of the book sounds a bit confusing)
