The Mystery Thief

"I couldn't believe it!" Stated an irritated 8th grader at Heritage Middle School. On the morning of October 20th many of the 8th grade students were angry because "majority of the money for the 8th grade Springfield trip was stolen." As stated by Ms.Hauer. It was also stated that the students could not attend the trip because of this incident. Many students seemed bitter, irritated and disappointed with this. One 8th grade student stated "It was upsetting to hear that we all paid 80$ just to have it stolen." No one knows why the thief did it but they do know that they cannot have a refund on their trip that they paid for.

When these students received this distressing message, it caused many people to worry. One witness reported that they saw and heard students accusing others of stealing the money. As the day went by students were starting to worry more, that is until the end of the school day came. When many 8th graders were in their last class of the day their teachers announced that the stolen money was false, and that it was only stated to prove that 8th graders blame each other for things they didn't do and that it shouldn't happen again. Many 8th graders were furious that the teachers used the field trip as an "example for this"

In the end the school just wanted to prove that pointing fingers was wrong and that people should get facts before they blame others. This is the perspicuous story on what happened on the breezy day of October 20th.
